Did you know that a local Norwell-based non-profit, Handhouse Studio, played a role in the massive Notre-Dame Cathedral restoration project? It started as a big idea following the devastating Notre-Dame de Paris fire of 2019. It blossomed into a hands-on collaboration of historians, institutions, architects, craftspeople, and students from around the world. Attend our Annual Dinner and hear the fascinating story of the recently completed reconstruction project with a presentation by local restoration carpenter Michael Burrey and Handhouse Studio’s Marie Brown.
